Norway - The land of the midnight sun and the fjords

Norway is famous for their beautiful nature with fjords, glaciers and snowy mountains. The Norwegian people like to take long walks or ski if the weather is right. Maybe you have heard of Edvard Munch, Norway’s famous painter, his “Skriet” can be seen in the national gallery, in Oslo (which can be included in our tours). You can also find the utmost point of Europe in Norway, North cape. North Cape is a monumental experience and offers a fascinating view from 307 meter above the North Atlantic Ocean, sometimes illuminated by the midnight sun and northern lights.

The viking ship museum
"The Viking Ship Museum is located at Bygdøy in Oslo, Norway. It is part of the Museum of Cultural History of the University of Oslo, and houses various archaeological finds and Vikingships from Tune, Gokstad (Sandefjord), Oseberg (Tønsberg) and the Borre mound cemetery."

The Munch museum

Lom stavechurch
"Lom is placed at the centre of Norway, between the peaks of beautiful Jotunheimen, and the village is known for being one of the foremost exponents of traditional Norwegian folklore.
One of the largest, most beautiful and oldest Norwegian stave churches is located in Lom. The stave church is still in daily use, even if it is 850 years since it was built. There are also two other churches in Lom, specifically in Bøverdalen and Garmo, but even if all three churches are built of wood, they have very different architecture."

Flåm railway
"A steep railway taking you past spectacular waterfalls, in and out of snow-capped mountains and ending up by the Aurlandsfjord.

Fløibanen
